Video Premiere: Hovering Over the Document Button with Overwhelmed to Demise’s “Dalbane”

Anybody who is aware of me is aware of that I fucking love Oslo’s “True Norwegian Melodic Grindcore” kings Overwhelmed to Demise. That is largely as a result of their grindcore is essentially the most non-grindcore grindcore that’s ever been thrown on the public the identical approach monkeys throw their shit at gawking zoo patrons; you don’t actually know in the event that they’re being playful, desperately searching for consideration, in the event that they’re super-pissed or a mixture of the entire above. It is a band that employs barely-distorted guitars, discordant/diminished noise/indie rock chord constructions, a straight-edge drummer whose nickname is ‘Bartender’ and a wickedly sardonic humorousness all crammed into 90-120 second-long songs with titles like “Don’t You Dare to Name Us Heavy Steel,” “True Norwegian Web Steel Warrior,” “Extraordinarily Run to the Hills,” “Greenway/Harris” (the video of which is just two dudes constructing a fence) and “My Hair Will Be Lengthy Till Demise,” the latter being an ode to Mika Martinussen, bassist and the remaining lineup lengthy hair. And their merch is roofed in photos of cats.

As we speak we now have pleasure of premiering the newest single/video off of forthcoming new and sixth album Dawn Over Rigor Mortis, “Dalbane” which is basically 1:08 of watching them arrange and put together to really file the brand new album. Says the band: “The Dawn Over Rigor Mortis album was recorded by our guitar participant Tommy at considered one of our favorite venues, Parkteatret Scene. They have been sort sufficient to allow us to use it over a couple of summer time days in 2022. The video for ‘Dalbane’ is principally only a few iPhone-snippets of the band on the brink of push that file button. And having pizza. Thanks, Parkteatret! The lyrics to ‘Dalbane’ are about using a curler coaster that solely goes down. No hills on this pleasure trip.”

Like I stated, I fucking love this band! Who’s with me?

And for shits and giggles, right here’s the band ripping on Mika by way of the medium of music and video:
